Mental Health is Mental Wealth

Too much attention is focused on mental illness and not enough focused on our mental health. Despite evidence that indicates that good mental health supports good physical health, better immune function, healthier relationships, and overall life satisfaction too few of us dedicate enough time each day to self care. Self-care includes proper nutrition, exercise and sleep habits.  In addition to good self-care, our lives are enriched through supportive relationships, satisfying careers, and meaningful leisure.  

Stigma can be an obstacle to getting the help you need to achieve good mental health. Therapy has been shown to be effective in addressing many of the problems that arise in life.  Don't let what other people may think of you getting help, stop you from reaching your potential.
